1Our Pledge

We, as members and contributors of AramSource, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

2Our Standards

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community.
  • Showing empathy towards other community members.
  • Not publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
  • Avoiding any form of harassment, trolling, or personal attacks.

3Unacceptable Behaviour

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind.
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information — such as a physical or email address — without their explicit permission.
  • Spam, excessive self-promotion, or off-topic content in community spaces.
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

4Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces including GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other official communication channels. It also applies when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces.

5Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be reported to the AramSource maintainers at hello@aramsource.org. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
