Last updated: April 2026

1Overview

AramSource is an open-source community. We are not a data company and we have no interest in collecting, selling, or profiting from your personal information. This policy explains the limited data we do interact with when you use aramsource.org.

2Information We Collect

  • Server logs: standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These are retained briefly for security and diagnostic purposes.
  • GitHub activity: if you interact with our repositories (issues, PRs, comments), your GitHub profile information is visible per GitHub's own privacy policy.
  • Email: if you contact us at hello@aramsource.org, we receive your email address and message. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
  • Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics (such as Plausible or Fathom) to understand traffic patterns. No personal data is collected or shared.

3Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies.
  • We do not build user profiles or track you across websites.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
  • We do not require account creation to use this website.

4Third-Party Services

This site may be hosted on Vercel. Our source code is hosted on GitHub. These services have their own privacy policies which govern the data they process. We encourage you to review them independently.

5Cookies

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If functional cookies are used (for example, to remember a preference), they are strictly necessary and contain no personally identifiable information.

6Data Retention

We do not maintain persistent databases of user information on aramsource.org. Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your query.

7Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data you believe we hold by emailing hello@aramsource.org. We will respond within 30 days.

8Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our projects evolve. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of this site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
